A pedagogical track faculty member is a full-time, tenure-eligible, faculty member engaged primarily in instructional activities.
The School of Nursing & Allied Health (SONAH) within the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) is seeking applicants for a nine-month, tenure-eligible Pedagogical Assistant Professor. The responsibilities of this position include teaching, scholarship, and service. The successful candidate must be dedicated to excellence in teaching. Service activities at all levels of the university are expected, as well as student academic and professional mentorship.

- Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP-FNP, BSN to DNP-Nurse Executive, and Post-MSN DNP)

Requirements:
- A minimum of a Doctoral Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field
- Maintain active Kentucky or compact state RN and/or APRN licensure, and meet any additional requirements as required by clinical agencies (which may include but is not limited to: Immunizations, titers, liability insurance, CPR, TB screening, and annual influenza vaccination). The cost of meeting the clinical agency requirements is at the expense of the faculty. Evidence of recent clinical specialty experience or current relevant specialty certification.
- Nursing experience and experience teaching in the desired courses, meeting Kentucky Board of Nursing regulations.
- Licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN-FNP) or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN-PMNHP) is required for Clinical Professors who seek appointment to the graduate nursing program.
- Maintain professional competence, for example by faculty practice, certification, professional development and/or consulting in field of expertise.
