Peace Office (Off-duty police)

Overview:
We are currently seeking Off-Duty Police Officers to join our team. As a Peace Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and security. This is an excellent opportunity for off-duty police officers to utilize their skills and experience while earning additional income.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible presence and maintain a safe environment at assigned locations or events
- Monitor and enforce rules, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Conduct patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of individuals
- Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel
- Prepare accurate incident reports detailing any observed incidents or actions taken

Qualifications:
- Must be a currently employed, active-duty police officer in good standing
- Possess a valid Peace Officer certification or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to law enforcement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties requiring physical exertion
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Please note that this position requires proof of current employment as an active-duty police officer. Additionally, this position requires an annual certification from a member of your chain of command permitting secondary employment at Dillard’s.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 38 per week
