Job Description

 

PDT Strategic Decision Support Lead

Cambridge, MA

 

Purpose of role:

  • Drive operationalization of PDT strategy by connecting and coordinating PDT BU efforts, actions, and messaging across a variety of areas.
  • Facilitate review of business initiatives to define strategic priorities and must-wins.
  • Assist and partner with PDT BU President and CFO on strategic thinking, decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation to ensure timely and aligned execution.
  • Develop strategic messaging and storytelling, owning presentation preparations for senior BU management (PDT president, CFO).

 

Accountabilities

  • As a part of PDT strategy team, support development of end-to-end PDT strategy and its translation into actionable plans and initiatives
  • Act as the facilitator for PDT BU by effectively communicating PDT strategic objectives and priorities within BU and externally to other BUs and functions. Drive alignment among key stakeholders and smooth execution of strategic deliverables.
  • Develops and manages PDT BU planning and event calendar, aligning agenda and content with strategic priorities.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and initiatives, manage their assessment and prioritization in alignment with PDT objectives and strategy to define must-win projects.
  • Manage BcRC process and meetings: planning, templates, assumptions tracking, approval management and record keeping.
  • Partner with PDT BU President and CFO to develop and plan communications, actions and initiatives involving both routine and complex matters. Act on defined plans and requests to ensure execution in a timely manner, as well as alignment and coordination of efforts across PDT BU.
  • Shift from high-level strategic thinking to stepping in and helping to drive implementation of high priority projects alongside functional teams.
  • Manage LT and Extended LT meeting agendas, notes and action item follow up.
  • Develop, align and track KPI for PDT BU.
  • Coordinate preparation and develop PDT materials for Investor Relationship (together with Communications) - manage the process, communicate, and align with PDT and corporate functions, collect PDT data, develop external messaging (story and financial guidance), review with stakeholders, manage presentations and submission of materials to Investor Relationship team.
  • Strategic messaging and storytelling: data collection, alignment between functions and with Communications, owning presentation preparations for senior management (i.e. PDT president, CFO, etc.)
  • Manage ad-hoc items as defined by PDT BU president and CFO.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA preferred.
  • 7 years of relevant business experience, including project management.

20% travel (some international) Global meetings require ability to flex in the work time zone.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

 

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
