Patient Apprenticeship Program

Work location: Texas Health Rockwall 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032
Work Environment: Nursing Units; must be willing to commit to any unit upon time of application. Exact unit to be determined during interview.
Work hours: Full Time; 40 hours per week during training and 36 hours per weekday shift after training; 4-5-week training period will typically be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or similar.
Shift Upon Completion of Training: 7AM-7PM; Days.
Start Date: March 25th, 2024.

Texas Health Rockwall Patient Care Techs (PCT) Apprentices are responsible for providing an excellent patient healthcare experience at each Texas Health site.
Position Summary
The Texas Health Patient Care Technician (PCT) Apprentice Program was developed to create a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we are privileged to serve. Program Apprentices will develop highly valued skills to become a Certified Patient Care Technician.
