Salary73 year old, female, quadriplegic seeks personal care assistant (PCA) in West University area. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist in bathing, dressing, transferring to wheelchair, and other minor medical tasks. Includes housekeeping, organizing and keeping things neat and clean, light laundry, some food preparation, occasional shopping and short errands. PAY: Hours are 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (or 9:00 am to 2:00pm, if preferred), Monday through Friday; $20 per hour ($500 per week), plus paid holidays (Christmas, Memorial Day, etc.) and 1 week paid vacation after the first year of work. Opportunity to travel with employer on vacations. REQUIREMENTS: Experience with medical patients; driver’s license, good English, able to work legally in the U.S., and proof of Covid-19 vaccination. Must be responsible, honest, able to make decisions and work independently. Employer will treat you as a respected colleague. Must be patient, kind and caring; and a good sense of humor is essential.
