P.C. Technician
Job Description:
P.C. Technicians must provide good customer service, while supporting Orscheln Industries’ Personal Computers. They are expected to support all operating systems installed on the desktop P.C.’s, and associated supporting software. Technicians are responsible for desktop hardware setup, repair and installation of peripheral components. Additionally, they are expected to become familiar with Orscheln’s networks and standards for the Desktop.
Responsibilities:
Install/repair PC’s and peripheral components.
Install client operating systems.
Install application software.
Follow established Corporate/Departmental procedures for all areas of PC Support.
Travel to remote sites to troubleshoot PC/Printer/Thin Client/Network issues.
Expected to maintain flexible work schedule.
Above all, provide good customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to travel to remote sites to provide PC support.
Must have reliable transportation to support normal site travel.
Must be able to lift heavy loads of 50 pounds or less and use dollies to move equipment.
Experience with Windows 10 Professional, Microsoft Office products and TCP/IP communication protocols is beneficial.
