Position Title: PC Refresh Technologist
Location: San Antonio, TX 78238 (Onsite)
Anticipated Start Date: May 16thPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 3+ months (Possible extension of 12 months)
Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite
Pay Range: $18/hr - $20/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:- PC Refresh/Imaging of Hardware/Software -configuring of software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Performs deskside support services to upgrade laptops.
- Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related problems to ensure the upgraded units are functioning properly, can connect to the network, and end user can access the devices and data.
- Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and system issues using established procedures.
- Knowledge of common software applications.
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
- Ability to make decisions that have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
- Attention to detail.
- 2-4 years of related work experience.
