Pc Refresh Technician

Job Description
Pomeroy is seeking a PC Technician to work in the Smyrna, TN area.
Project Requirements:
a. Diagnose PC HW issues and repair PC's (if repairable at the site) or provide exchange if applicable.
b. Upgrade and Install PC OS and Software
c. Perform Windows OS and Software troubleshooting and resolution
d. Provide both in person and remote desktop support for hardware/software issues
e. Interface with end users in person, on the phone, through email, instant messaging or remote tools to provide PC hardware or software issue resolution
f. Provide IMAC (Installation, Move, Add, Change) service based on business needs per approved requests
g. Provide timely operational status to the EUC site lead on issues and risks that are beyond his/her control.
Knowledge Experience

• Proven experience troubleshooting Windows 10 Operating System and dependent applications (Onsite and with remote access tools)
• Hands-on knowledge of and experience with Enterprise PC Operating System deployments/migrations and hardware refreshes
• Advanced knowledge of the Windows 10 registry, file and folder security, local user security
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Office 2016/2019/365 products including Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint and Outlook
• Working knowledge of internet browsers (Edge and Chrome) and related security settings
• Working knowledge of Windows networking components, i.e. TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, IPsec etc.
• Working knowledge of Cisco VPN software. Two factor authentication experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of remote control tools such as Bomgar
• PC hardware troubleshooting skills
• Able to develop, interpret and follow technical documentation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft AD structure/security and Group Policies is a plus
• Experience with IT Service Management software such as ServiceNow is a plus
• Experience with supporting mobile devices and applications, including Apple iOS and Google Android in an Enterprise environment is a plus
• Experience with software distribution via Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is a plus Personal Attributes
