We are looking for individuals who have experience in Property and Casualty Insurance Underwriting, Property and Casualty Insurance Compliance, Risk Management, or Construction Administration to work with our engineers to build the next generation technology.
Injala is looking for an Insurance Product Specialist for market disrupting technology in the Insurance Industry. You will join a team that is reinventing how risk management and insurance activities are performed. Our products span across the industry and include insurance prequalification, financial prequalification, underwriting, brokering, administration, compliance, and safety and loss control. You will be responsible for maintaining successful relationships with clientele as well as taking part in developing advanced technology that will help push the industry to the next generation.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Product Owner and be their second in command to help carry out client related activities, while working with the engineering team to discuss advancement and growth of the technology. You will have a broad set of responsibilities in this role to help ensure the success of Injala products.
- Work with Risk Managers and Insurance professionals (clients) to understand their risks and how Injala’s technology can be leveraged to reduce risk, while providing economic value to their business.
- Working with new prospects to gain a deep understanding of their current administrative workflows and helping create a plan for implementation of the technology, and ultimately helping successfully execute the plan.
- Stewardship meetings with high value clients to demonstrate the value Injala team and technology has brought to their business and seek feedback for helping strengthen and grow the partnership.
- Stay up to speed with industry trends, competition and participate in strategy sessions in efforts of finding opportunities for business and technology growth.
- Routinely communicating with engineers to help translate client feedback and business strategy into system requirements.
- Be involved in upcoming product releases, identifying how changes can affect client’s current workflows and communicating those changes with the clients. If called upon, be involved in quality testing.
- Helping with being a source for insurance knowledge share for engineers and non-insurance professional within Injala. This can include educating others on how industry operates, ongoing changes and trends in the industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide marketable client feedback and success stories. If called upon, represent Injala at top industry conferences and tradeshows.
Minimum Qualifications:

· 3+ years of work experience construction, property and casualty insurance risk management, property and casualty insurance compliance, or contract administration. Knowledge or working experience with Wrap-up Programs (OCIP, CCIP, CIP) is a plus.
· Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with clients, and internally with cross functional partners.
· Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to digest complex data and present findings in a clear manner that drives decision making and outcomes.
· Strong listening skills; ability to understand the “why” and get to what matters quickly.
· Desire to learn -this role requires a high level of intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to dive into new problems, domains, tools, and techniques.
Employee Type and Location: Full-time, Dallas, TX / Hybrid schedule
Level of Education: Undergraduate in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management Insurance, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of work experience construction, risk management, compliance, or contract administration.
Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000 + bonus
