Job Description
What you get to do every single day
- Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations
- Image and set up new computers
- Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases
- Provide support for functionality testing and end users
- Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
- Take down, box and ship out of date equipment
- Handle disassembly, boxing, movement and setup/installation on site
- Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed
- Own and complete technology implementation projects
- Ensure sound electronic data records by adhering to company quality standards
- Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Ensure that ticket submitters receive frequent and effective communication
- Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment
- Expertise in Multi function printers
- PLC Programming experience desired
- CompTIA A+ certification obligatory
- Preferred skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
- 1 - 3 years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
- Detailed and have the ability work independently
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
