Gator Chrysler Dodge Jeep has immediate opening for an experienced Payroll/Benefits Clerk. Dealership is locally owned and located on the beautiful intercostal waterway in Melbourne, Florida. Long term Ownership, management team and employees.

Responsibilities
- Processes all new employees, terminations, rate changes, deductions, etc.in Paychex Flex Payroll Program.
- Maintains current records on all employees including vacation and sick days eligibility.
- Post payroll journal entries and reconcile sales commissions weekly.
- Reconciles health, dental, vision, life and STD/LTD disability bills monthly.
- Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Understands deadlines and able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
- Payroll accounting and/or Paychex Flex experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality is a must.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfortable in an open office is required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience.
- Reynolds and Reynolds Ignite and Paychex Flex knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Office and computer skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent customer service, communication and phone skills.
