Job Title: Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist
Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our client's payroll and accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling high volume accounts payable transactions and processing over 500 payrolls. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for over 500 employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Handle all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Review and verify employee timecards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and accounts payable matters promptly and professionally.
- Reconcile payroll and accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll and accounts payable as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to ensure seamless payroll and accounts payable processes.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant payroll and accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable processing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software (UKG) and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
