Form of work Title: Payroll Tax Specialist
Location: Cumberland, RI (Position begins Onsite before transition to a Hybrid schedule)
Pay Rate: $27.00/hr
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 4:30PM EST
We are looking for a dedicated, conscientious, and exacting Payroll Tax Specialist to handle all tax matters in our payroll team. You will join a team of seasoned professionals contributing to making our Payroll Tax function efficient and fault-free. As a Payroll Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for:Administrative items related to Payroll Taxes
Payroll tax audit support and state unemployment tax support
Validation of tax returns according to legislative timelines and stipulations
Reconciliation of tax payments internally
Managing state, local, unemployment, and federal tax registrations
Helping employees on any additional tax or payroll matters
Position Requirements:2-5 years of Accounting or Payroll experience/background, with in-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, tax legislation, accounting practices, and audit requirements
Strong experience with MS Office Suite programs
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
