Aloha International Employment, Inc. is a full service employment agency providing Staffing Services (Temp, Temp-to-hire, and Direct Hire) and PEO Services.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain payroll records and ensure all information is up to date
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues that may arise
- Generate payroll reports for management as needed
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficient in using payroll software and systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Paychex, QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and journal entries
- Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
