Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experience payroll professional with proven experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and auditing payroll time sheets. This role will be reviewing employee timecard and identifying errors and potential payroll issues. Ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Excel skills along with great attention to detail. This position is a 3–6-month contract assignment and will pay between $22 and $25/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Verify employee time and attendance records to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations.
- Identify and address any compliance issues, working closely with HR and finance teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Generate regular reports summarizing audit results, trends, and recommendations for management review.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance payroll processes.
- Additional duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll administration and auditing, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
