Payroll and Benefits Specialist (JO-2304-201850)

Located in Fresno, CA
We are recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist for our premier client!  ***Direct Hire***
This position is responsible for accurately processing payroll, assuring the company complies with federal, state and local laws related to Payroll and effectively manages open enrollment processes and Benefits. The qualifying candidate must demonstrate their ability to consistently maintain a high level of focused activity and consistently strive to achieve higher levels of performance and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Well-versed in processing Payroll for 200+ employees
• Manage payroll salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain employee records and processing new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
• Assists new hires and employees regarding benefits claim issues, 401k and plan changes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production or related Operations environment preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred; Experience may be substituted for education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience in Paylocity is a plus

Pay:  $65K - $70K
