The Opportunity
- Serve as the system administrator for department applications (eg. WRIKE and Salesforce) by setting up accounts and troubleshooting any issues.
- Responsible for maintaining our contracts application in Salesforce by entering and auditing contract data points and site information.
- Responsible for maintaining our project management tool (WRIKE) by monitoring projects and overseeing new site implementation.
- Responsible for maintaining information on department’s SharePoint.
- Develop training manuals and train new users on department applications.
- Work to improve department operational processes.
- Review contract files for accuracy and ensure files are updated in accordance with department standards.
- Draft payer notices as requested, e.g. termination notices, rate changes, etc.
- Review and process payer amendments.
- Serve as the point of contact for payers as it relates to site demographics.
- Responsible for notifying payers of new sites, terminated site, or site changes.
- Work closely with internal and external billing companies by notifying them of payer agreements changes and setting up facility and provider billing information.
- Process payer amendments as needed.
- Triages mail, faxes, and forwards payer requests to appropriate Contract Manager.
- Submit documents for signature via DocuSign and perform other department functions as assigned.
Required Experience and Competencies
- 4+ years of relevant healthcare experience required.
- 2-3 years of experience in AR management, billing, managed care contracting, or provider relations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
