Description: Are you looking for an exciting opportunity? Walt’s Pawn & Jewelry Buying is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Pawnbroker Sales & Lending Associate. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assessing items for pawn or sale, and facilitating transactions in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for customer service and strive for a team-oriented atmosphere, we want to hear from you! Pawn experience is helpful, but we will train the right person!

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet & Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries and transactions.
• Evaluate items brought in for pawn or sale to determine authenticity, condition, and value.
• Negotiate pawn or sale prices with customers, ensuring fair and competitive offers.
• Process pawn & sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and pawn counter.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and uphold standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Continuously expand product knowledge to in all areas of operations.

Requirements:

• Computer Skills a MUST
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, jewelry and/or pawn industry helpful, but we will train the right person.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of valuable items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments is a plus.
• Online Sale and/or social media sales experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 48 per week
