Job Title: Transportation Specialist (Driver - Behavioral Health)
Job Summary: We’re looking for Transportation Specialist to help transport our consumers to and from designated appointments. Various work hours available for this role.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Compensation: $18-$19/hr
Position Responsibilities:
- Transport consumers to and from designated appointments.
- Transport medications to be delivered to consumers.
- Communicate with the team regarding consumer concerns and/or transportation issues for the consumer.
- Attend team, department and Agency meetings as required.
- Maintain the MHC vehicles in optimal condition and report any concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Must inspect assigned vehicle at the beginning of work shift and complete vehicle inspection form.
- Complete all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner.
- Respond expediently to all communication with office.
- Responsible for managing route, which includes calling consumers prior to leaving the office and planning route effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to transport consumers to appointments in a safe and reliable manner
- Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and “F” Endorsement (required)
- Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
- Personal Automobile Insurance
