The Patient Services Representative will serve as the first point of contact between HealthyMD and our patients. They will also serve as auditors for our clinics. They will be reporting into the Manager, Patient Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer callers inquires via inbound calls/tele health
Transfer any patient that needs immediate medical attention to the Site Manager, depending on location
Performs data entry using the EMR system
Handles sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Requires a professional and interpersonal skill to interact with clients, healthcare professionals, and staff via phone, email, fax, etc.
Works and completes tasks in an electronic medical record system in a timely manner Perform standard operations procedures as outlines by HMD.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as necessary by your supervisor
Requirements:
1 year customer service of services experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge of Windows Office Systems; particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has the ability to interact effectively with clients, administration, and staff
Requires the ability to communicate with clients as well as target groups of diverse individuals
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of Pharmacy Pre-Authorization process
Experience with Cover My Med platform
Infectious Disease knowledge (HIV/STI/HEP-C)
Medical terminology
Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
Highly organized and a proven strategic thinker with ability to engage and motivate teams
