Patient Services Coordinator

Orlando Avenue Surgery Center (OASC) is a state-of-the-art surgery center located in Winter Park, FL. OASC is a multi-specialty surgery center with a focus on women's health/GYN.

We have an immediate opening for a qualified Patient Services Coordinator to fill a full-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:45am to 2:30pm. This is an exciting and challenging position with a surgery center that continues to grow.

Assignments include but not limited to:

• Responsible for the daily coverage of reception area including greeting and registering patients and ensuring a smooth flow of operation and customer satisfaction
• Provide direction and instruction for the completion of patient documentation and all items needed by the surgery center for new and returning patients
• Obtain insurance information for new and returning patients for verification of benefits
• Collect and process patients’ payments and other patient financial activities as directed
• Manage the organization of patient charts, including entries into electronic medical charts and filing of physical charts

Applicants must have excellent communications and computer skills; capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment; Candidate who is bi-lingual/multi-lingual is a Plus. Experience working in a medical reception setting is ideal. Knowledge of women’s health is a Plus.
