American Endovascular is seeking a motivated Patient Service Coordinator that care about improving patients' lives. This person must have experience working as a medical receptionist and or front desk clerk, in a healthcare environment. Must have a friendly outgoing personality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appointments.
- Checking in patients upon arrival
- Arrange transportation.
- Professionally handle requests and ensure issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and positively with patients and clinical staff.
- Obtain necessary authorizations for procedures or office visits
- Confirm appointments with patients
- Answer phone calls in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
- Check insurance eligibility to confirm correct insurance information.
- Collect copays as needed.
Requirements:
- Authorization experience required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Front desk in a medical environment, required.
- Basic computer skills, required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
