Patient Service Associate

Becker Orthopedic Patient Care is looking to hire a part time Patient Services Associate to work at our hospital based location in Grand Blanc MI. The candidate must be a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and experience working in a fast-paced multitasking environment. Ability to work from 8:30am – 5pm three days per week M-W most weeks with some flexibility on days between M-F.

High character and reliable individual with High School Diploma or Equivalent. Strong communication skills and experience working with patients in the medical field. Proficient computer skills and experience or interest in learning related to insurance verification, authorization, obtaining medical documentation, front end audits, and electronic claim submission a must. A reimbursement specialist in DME and O&P, and two or more years’ experience in coding, billing and follow up, is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
