Job description

We Are Hiring:
  • Department: Health Information
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Facility: Ascension Living HOPE
  • Location: Wichita, KS
  • Salary midpoint: $18.40 an hour

Salary midpoint refers to the median of the salary range for this position. Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.
What You Will Do:
Schedules medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services. Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
  • Assist with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
  • Ensure that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.
  • Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.
What You Will Need:
Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
