About The Opportunity
Aidin is looking for a Prior Authorization Associate to join our growing team – a team that is passionate about delivering value and providing solutions that drive efficiency in healthcare and improve the lives of case managers and in turn the patients they serve.
The Prior Authorization Associate will be responsible for monitoring Aidin’s prior authorization solution, troubleshooting any authorizations that are not processed in a timely manner, and providing white glove service to our case manager partners to ensure they have all the information they need for each patient.
What you will do…
- Provide white glove service to Aidin’s case manager clients to support effective and efficient prior authorization processes to ensure timely discharge of patients from the hospital.
- Monitor queue of prior authorization submissions to ensure all information required for the payer is provided.
- Liaise with case managers to gather patient information to support appropriate submission of prior authorizations.
- Liaise with payers to confirm submissions receipts and troubleshoot any discrepancies in submission information.
- Maintain accurate records of authorization requests, approvals, and denials.
- Partner with Aidin’s product team to provide feedback on ways to improve prior authorization product performance.
- Ensure compliance with patient HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex medical information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and prior authorization guidelines
- Experience delivering in fast paced, high growth working environments
- Highly proactive and self-motivated - able to manage multiple priorities
- Passion for improving the health of communities and enhancing the performance of our clients.
