Patient Scheduler/Administrative

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Patient reminder calls and text messages
• Respond to patient telephone inquiries
• Maintain records of patient communication
• Update and maintain patient electronic medical records
• Assist nursing staff with patient intake
• Assist nursing staff during patient appointments as needed
• Educate patients and family members ensuring understanding of services provided
• Relationship building with patients
• Communication with team members and updates to any scheduling conflicts

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year healthcare or related office experience (Preferred)
• Telephone/Customer Service Experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish

Job Status:

• Part Time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Healthcare setting:

• Clinic

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
