The Front Desk Patient Representative will be responsible for ensuring all patients and visitors who check-in for an appointment or approach the front desk are given world class customer service by greeting patients with kindness, accurately processing all forms and completing EHR updates, maintaining a clean and welcoming waiting room.
Location: Basalt and Aspen, CO. This role will be assigned to both the Aspen and Basalt locations, and will work in both regularly.
Classification: full time, year round; non-exempt, eligible for benefits
Compensation: starting at $22.00/hr. DOE - compensation offers will increase from this base rate based on health care or applicable customer service experience.
Sign-On Bonus: We are pleased to offer a signing bonus of $2,000. This bonus will be paid on the first scheduled pay date after 6 months of employment with TSC. You must be in good standing to receive this bonus
Start Date: Winter 2023-24 - Applications for this position will be accepted until 30 days from the posting date. If the position is not filled during this time, the application window will be extended. Candidates who are selected to move through the interviewing process will be contacted directly.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Courteously greets and checks-in patients.
• Performs front desk receptionist duties for the clinic: answers phone calls, directs visitors, keeps front office tidy.
• Ensures registration paperwork is complete, insurance cards are current and scanned into all EHR programs.
• Collects co-pays and balances; processes payments.
• Check patients out and schedule follow up appointments, if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years' experience in customer service required.
• Personal characteristics which include flexibility, enthusiasm, effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Must be pleasant and courteous at all times.
