- Job SummaryResponsible for performing multiple customer-focused Access Center tasks (bedside registration, insurance verification, limited financial counseling, co-pay collection, collaboration with bed placement coordinators, order entry, account verification andupdates, urgent registrations). Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs. Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and state’s of emergency.
- EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer some college coursework in Business Administration; Allied Health or related area.
- ExperienceOne or more years of healthcare/office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Experience/knowledge of pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, medical terminology, and ICD 10 coding terminology is a plus.
