Job description:
Sonder Behavioral Health and Wellness is currently seeking a full-time Patient Intake Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to work at our Minnetonka clinic. This role will be a hybrid position, consisting of both Patient Intake Coordinator duties, as well as Administrative Assistant duties. As a Patient Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our new patients, gathering pertinent patient, clinical, and financial information. You will conduct brief telephone screenings to determine the nature of the patient's concerns and schedule them with the most suitable provider. As an Administrative Assistant, you will greet patients at the front desk, complete patient check-in, collect copays, and schedule appointments. We are looking for a reliable candidate with a positive attitude and a desire to work as efficiently as possible, as well as a good team player. Intake Responsibilities:
- Manage the Patient Intake process for behavioral health patients.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and/or email.
- Assess patients' needs and refer to the appropriate provider.
- Schedule appointments using appropriate billing codes.
- Obtain all necessary patient information and enter in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all necessary data and documents have been uploaded to EHR.
- Assist with other clinic tasks and projects as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients for appointments.
- Schedule and/or reschedule patents appointments.
- Answer phone calls.
- Faxing, scanning and copying.
- Open and /or close clinic.
Requirements:
- Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality as required for HIPAA.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
- Basic knowledge of billing and insurance coverage.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5:15pm
*This is an in-office position and cannotbe completed remotely.
