Principal Accountabilities:
- assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
- assisting patients with activities of daily living
- performing post mortem care
- measuring and recording I & O
- performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
- observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN
- maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
License/Certification :
- Current BLS preferred; required within 3 months of hire
Related Experience :
- 3+ months related nursing assistant experience and /or CNA training strongly preferred
