Patient Care Technician

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Assists hospital staff members in the provision of non-professional Patient Care as delegated by the clinical house supervisor and/or designee.

Job Description:

• Patient Lifting and mobilization
• Demonstrates safe patient transport with both stretcher and wheelchair
• Accurately weighs patients
• Application of CPM device
• Performs errands/transports specimens
• Performs EKGs
• Assembles traction

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification required
• BCLS by the end of orientation period
