Patient Care Coordinator (Part Time- College Student)

College Student looking for Medical Experience and Part-Time Hours!!

Weekday working hours : 4:30-8:30pm - Days needed: Tuesday and Thursday

Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
- Answer patient inquiries and provide information about services offered
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Skills:
- Office administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical administrative support procedures and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
