We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Patient Assistant will provide essential support to patients and medical staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient healthcare experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Assist patients with various needs, including checking in/out, scheduling appointments, and providing general information
-Assist patient with they're daily actives, Such as Grooming, Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Toileting Behavior and IADLs.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical information
- Provide assistance with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients as needed
- Follow proper infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with patients and medical staff
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records
