Water Gap Wellness provides out patient PHP and IOP services to clients that have Mental Health and Substance use disorder.
Responsibilities include:
- ensures the safety of the guests and the environment.
- Documents observations and communicates concerns to the nursing/clinical and administrative staff.
- Serves as role model, demonstrating an understanding of the fundamentals of a balanced recovery program.
- Coordinates care and ensures that clients are in educational groups and aware of unit expectations.
- Transportation of Guests
- Maintains confidentiality of information and records.
- Recognizes and assists in crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions based on training and experience.
- Escorts guests for meals, appointments or other related activities
- Transport clients to other facilities
- Facilitates or co-facilitates CD Educational groups.
- Attends monthly meetings or scheduled trainings.
- May provide client transportation for some shifts and/or specific facility locations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Behavioral Health and or Substances Abuses Treatment Facility preferred
- Strong Communication
- High School Diploma/GED Required. BA Degree preferred
- 18 years or older
- Valid DMV Required

Water Gap Wellness is located in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (a short 4 mile ride from the Water Gap Wellness Inn), is dedicated to providing an exceptional, individualized, holistic wellness program for those seeking help in substance use and/or mental health disorders. Our holistic approach is designed to restore balance, and re-calibrate the mind, body and spirit through a combination of masterfully-planned clinical sessions and extraordinary experiential experiences.
Our programs are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Drug and Alcohol Programs of Pennsylvania and offer an on-site Psychiatrist five days each week, two 1-on-1 sessions weekly with masters-level clinicians, group therapy daily, recreational activities lead by NOLS-Certified instructor, relapse prevention through exposure therapy, seasoned mental health professionals and so much more.
Our curriculum offers various levels of care and incorporates wellness into every aspect of our programming. We treat the person, not the diagnosis and help people learn healthy coping skills to move forward into healthy daily living patterns.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
