Patient Account Specialist: FT 37.5 hours per week + Benefits. Under the direct supervision of the Controller, is responsible for all aspects of A/R and collections. Will work with payers and formulate policies and procedures to improve account receivable processes, assist Controller with various accounts receivable-related projects, review EOB’s to ensure proper reimbursement, and research denials. Sound understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance required. Knowledge of 835 processes. Intermediate Excel skills required, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Professional Requirements: BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience (4 years).
