HealthCare Support is currently seeking an experienced Patient Access Supervisor to fill an opening with a National Healthcare Company in Stockton, CA.
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements for the Patient Access Supervisor role: 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration Department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, revenue cycle vendor, and/or other revenue cycle role. 
  • 1 or more years of Managerial experience in a healthcare setting, preferably acute hospital/ large clinic preferred
  • Ability to work well with others and have GREAT communication skills
  • High School Diploma / GED or higher (Associates Degree preferred)
  • Full COVID vaccination required (booster required for those eligible)

Assignment details for the Patient Access Supervisor:
Shift: 8:30-5:30pm Monday through Friday. 
*must be available for rotating on call weekends - 1 weekend per month.  
This position is responsible for managing daily operations of the Patient Access Dpt in the ER.  This is a busy ER and averages 300 patients in 24 hour period.  The manager will oversee 30+ employees . Will be responsible for staffing, schedules, timecards, payroll approval, employee engagement.  There is an additional ER Supervisor you will work with in addition to Patient Access Managers and Director
  • Supplements staff training, coaching and support
  • Issue identification, assessment, and resolution; and technical support within the assigned work environment to achieve desired outcomes and compliance with Optum360 and client policies/procedures and standards.
  • Provides input in hiring/firing decisions, as well as performance appraisals.
  • May perform quality reviews and analysis to support internal controls, monitor employee performance and assist in staff development, retention, and selection.
  • Serves as relief support and a super user for new programs, processes, and technologies.

3 month contract *covering Leave of Absence, extensions possible
