- Responsible for assisting the department leadership with oversite of a variety of essential business functions that may include appointment scheduling, patient check-in, registration, coverage management, patient portal signup, patient message collection and routing, departmental support, prior authorizations, reporting, and work queue management.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
- High School Graduate
- Associates degree in a business or healthcare field (preferred)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Two years of Patient Access, revenue cycle or other healthcare experience required, with emphasis in access services, POS collections, registration, scheduling, insurance verifications/authorization or customer service.
- One year prior supervisory related experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.

- Department-specific staff
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology, International Classification Coding of Diseases and Current Procedural Terminology guidelines and requirements related to inpatient and outpatient imaging services.
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with internet, email and Microsoft office programs. Excellent customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak, and comprehend the English language fluently.
- Demonstrates ability to efficiently organize work, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Experience in patient registration, insurance verification and health insurance plans

- Provides leadership, training and education to Patient Access Specialists and serves as an exemplary role model and projects a positive image of Froedtert South following the Froedtert South Mission Statement and Values.
