SUMMARY OF JOB:
Admits moms as they arrive for services. Admits newborn once baby arrives. Ensures all information is entered timely and accurately. Verifies patient insurance information and obtains authorizations for service. Produces admission packet for all patients, obtains signature and makes copies as needed. Maintains induction schedule online of patients being scheduled to be induced. Prints patient charges from the Athena system for nursing and physician staff upon patient arrival. Prints admission packets and obtains patient signatures, copies as needed. Maintains departmental logs of activity within the department.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
§High School Diploma/GED required. Must be able to provide official proof of completion.
