1FTE, 40hrs/wk, day shift. Monday-Friday but with Saturday rotations.
Summary:
The PAR II performs all outpatient, emergency room and inpatient registration functions including up front cash collections and insurance verification. Ensures that patients meet financial requirements, provides general information to hospital users, patients and families. Communicates effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service and provides excellent patient focused customer service.
The PAR II is highly skilled and works at a fully cross-functional level. A PAR II colleague is expected to work in all functional areas for Patient Access.
Requirements:
HS graduate or equivalent
Technical School/2 Years College / Associate’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 1yr related experience required, 2-4yrs preferred (hospital or physician office)
