THE JOB:
As a vital member of our Food Prep team, your role is pivotal in crafting memorable culinary experiences. Through your adept techniques and warm demeanor, you infuse each product with a touch of magic, delivering WOW moments for our customers. Your unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that every item prepared and stocked reflects our dedication to extraordinary quality, leaving a lasting impression on all who indulge.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Follow precise recipes for mixing and baking Italian-style desserts. Skillfully decorate, finish, and plate pastries with an emphasis on Italian pastry techniques.
Ensure timely rotation of both raw ingredients and finished products based on expiration dates, moving up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Expertly use electric and balance scales along with other measuring devices, while operating machinery to achieve desired results.
Effectively communicate with supervisors through verbal and written channels, especially in fast-paced environments with time constraints.
Demonstrate steady and accurate work, standing for extended periods, with keen attention to detail in every aspect of pastry preparation.
Adhere to proper food handling techniques, maintaining high standards of health and safety in accordance with Italian pastry traditions.
Keep work area meticulously clean and always organized to facilitate efficient production and workflow.
Preform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Works varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One (1) year pastry experience.
Experience in a resort setting or similar.
Has formal culinary training.
