TITLE: Pastry Cook
JOB STATUS: FT Hourly
REPORTS TO: Pastry Chef

POSITION OVERVIEW
Daily preparation of standard recipes while working together with kitchen and dining staff to produce a consistent and high quality product. Ensuring all food quantities on assigned station produced are adequate for anticipated business levels. Communicate any and all needs to kitchen leadership in a timely manner. Work closely with fellow kitchen associates to coordinate timing of tickets ad flow of service. Be part of a fun and driven team with a focus on providing the best guest experience in Park City.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring prepared item pars are met and prepared for service in a timely manner
- Communicate all with kitchen leadership any quality or quantity issues as they arise
- Communicate upcoming orders with chef/expo to ensure smooth flow of service
- Assist in opening/closing procedures including cleaning to set up next shift for success and maintain a clean workplace
- Writing of prep list to communicate needs for the next day
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes

CREDENTIAL AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years restaurant experience preferred
- Experience in portion control and following recipes
- Experience in working with the kitchen team to coordinate service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift, push & carry heavy objects.
- Ability to carry 50 poundsJob Type: Full-time or Part-Time
