Duties

- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards

- Assist in menu planning and development of new pastry items

- Ensure high quality and presentation of all pastry items

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the pastry department

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs to the supervisor

```Qualifications:```

- Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting

- Proficient in various baking techniques and methods

- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation

- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent time management skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Note: Dietary aide experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required.
