Position Purpose:
To develop, implement, and direct Faith Formation programs for preschool, elementary, junior high, and high school students. Collaborates with the pastoral leader, staff, and consultative bodies in implementing the mission of the parish. Provide support to our Sunday morning Faith Formation classes, lead and coordinate Catechists and scheduling.
The ideal candidate has elementary/ middle school/ high school teaching experience or has experience as a catechist as well as significant parish involvement.
- Ability to inspire and work with volunteers and staff, including recruiting of volunteers
- Creativity, flexibility, joy and enthusiasm in evangelizing the youth
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and communication tools
