Form of workWe are seeking motivated individuals to coordinate prior approval and managed care processes for patient/client services for the in-home provider care program (also known as PAS or PHC services) at Legacy Home Health Agency, Inc.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide the coordination of services for managed care obligations
- Coordinate the authorization process to ensure completion of prior approvals to appropriate payor entities
- Process requests for prior authorization of PAS or PHC services
- Perform necessary follow-up actions to obtain current authorizations for clients/patients receiving services
- Process client/patient information and authorization data in agency database
- Communicate with state caseworkers and insurances to coordinate service authorizations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Customer service experience required.
- Work experience in PAS/PHC Coordination or in a healthcare related field preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
