Job Description
Location: Ames, Main Complex
Shift Requirements: flexible schedule M-F, 7-3:30
As a Parts Worker, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service, including receiving orders from customers, answering phones, assisting customers at the walk-in counter, and responding to emails
- Process incoming freight by unloading the freight off the truck, counting the product received, verifying freight to the purchasing order
- Unload bulk inventory and non-inventory items using forklifts (e.g. wood signposts, metal signposts, snow blades, traffic paint, wood snow fence, and calcium)
- Help with random cycle counts as Items must be counted for accuracy
- Picking parts, loading trucks, and other duties as assigned

Additional Qualification Requirements
Designated positions in this class require possession of a valid Commercial Learner's Permit upon hire.
