Parts Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The Parts Specialist will be responsible for managing warehouse inventory, sourcing and purchasing parts, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and automotive repair.

Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Source and purchase parts from suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Collaborate with the service department to fulfill customer orders and provide necessary parts for automotive repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including tracking sales and returns
- Assist in demand planning by analyzing historical data and forecasting future needs
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts

Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or inventory control
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes
- Familiarity with sourcing and supplier management
- Proficient in logistics and supply chain management principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required
