Objectives
Manages the ordering and receiving of automotive parts and automotive accessories as well as the activities of all parts related staff ensuring Coast Collision Centers performance targets. Responsible for the training and development of all parts personnel. The Parts Manager serves to ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures.
Parts Manager/Assistant Responsibilities
Reviewing Parts Bucket in Management System for timely orders.
Providing ETA on parts arrival.
Reviewing accuracy of parts with technicians and estimators.
Receiving Parts in Management system for proper costing in Accounts Payables.
Distributing Parts to assigned technician for every work order.
Ensuring all Parts are labeled correctly.
Returning parts if incorrect to the vendor and in management system.
Obtaining credits against any returned parts from the vendor.
Managing any Parts Personnel and ensuring procedures are being followed.
Verify all invoices posted in Management System.
Coordinate with the Estimator to communicate with customers regarding parts status. Managing vendor discounts as agreed with the company.
Updating Job Skills as agreed with Management
Performs all other duties assigned by Management.
Parts Manager Assistant: Assist the Parts manager of the ordering and receiving of automotive parts and automotive accessories. Also assisting the Parts Manager of any parts related tasks. Receives instructions from Parts Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
