Summer Job Coach

Somerset County Public Schools' Transitional Program is conducting a Summer Youth Employment program for qualified students and is seeking current Job Coaches and/or Teachers to serve as Job Trainers. Job Trainers' will be responsible for:

• Attending an hour training

• Monitoring student(s) in the following areas daily: Respectfulness, Promptness, Professionalism, Preparedness, and Work Ethic.

• Work with students to help them interact with others in the workplace.

• Complete daily evaluations by communicating with student, employer and review with students daily.

• Complete mid-program evaluation with employer and student.

• Complete final evaluation with employer and student.

• Serve as the liaison between the student and the employer.

• Weekly communication with program manager.

Individual will be expected to travel to student job sites throughout the county.
Hours vary but will be no more than 5 hours per day.
Program runs June 27th-August 5th.
