The Parts Requisition Specialist is responsible for providing excellent parts ordering support to all internal customers from the beginning to the end of each transaction. This position demands a schedule or normal business hours, but might also require work after normal operating hours, including Saturdays.
Parts Requisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and via email
- Take parts orders accurately and decipher internal parts issues
- Assist internal customers to determine necessary parts information such as parts numbers, quantities, sourcing, freight, timelines, etc.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in a hands-on customer service role
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience in a heavy equipment/parts/industrial work environment
- Strong Computer skills
- Professional communication skills: verbal, written, email, phone, face-to-face
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually to achieve department and company goals
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
- Outgoing, positive personality
- Self-motivated, willing to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Knowledge of Cat Systems
