Parts Order Coordinator/Water Spider - 1st Shift

Eaton's ESSG PDCAD Power Distrib Control Assy Div division is currently seeking a Parts Order Coordinator/Water Spider - 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The Parts Order coordinator will be the point person for all Parts Orders shipped out of MVC. Ensure that Parts Orders for the MVC product line are shipped on time to the customer. Coordinate shipments with customer service, supply chain, fabrication, and manufacturing to ensure material availability for shipment. Package the correct parts and quantities per the bill of material.
In this function you will:
• Package materials for shipment properly
• Coordinate shipment of Parts Orders for AMA and Q23 suffixes on time
• Direct ownership of the AMP on time performance metric
• Direct ownership of the Parts Order warranty claims. Drive the reduction of Parts Order warranty claims.
• Distribute, coordinate, and follow up on Parts Order sub-assemblies from manufacturing
• Drive to improve the Parts Order process. Participate in warranty review meetings as necessary and work with Quality to identify root cause analysis of Parts Order issues.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in bill of material accuracy to engineering team and supervisors
• Communicate with customer service on pull-in opportunities and incoming orders.
• Communicate parts shortages to department planners / leads / and supervisor.
• Extensive use of Enovia, DMM, and AS/400 to check for part availability.
• Monitor the production schedule and assembly line to ensure that the correct orders are packed.
• Utilize Outlook and other computer programs to perform daily job functions.
• Flex into assembly when required. Potential to be asked to backfill Water Spider functions when required.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship
• No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Material Handling Experience
• Previous experience in MVC/MVD
• Preferred candidate should have a working knowledge of the area and a working knowledge of the manufacturing operations
• Associates Degree in related field
Position Success Criteria:
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience with AS400/DMM/Enovia
• Two years of direct manufacturing experience or equivalent
• Must have proficient computer skills
